Murfreesboro District Mission Trip  September 17-21, 2008 Mission Opportunities: Construction Church, Education Building, Clinic, or Home. We need willing (no experience) and experienced workers! Medical Aid Dental, Well-Baby,  and General Physical We need doctors, nurses, dentists,  and hygienists on EVERY trip! Bible & Vitamin Distribution Evangelism in colonias (neighborhoods). About This Trip…. This trip is designed to be a ‘first taste’ of international mission work.   While we will engage in construction work, medical aid,  and evangelism in colonias (neighborhoods),  the goal of the trip is to familiarize participants with the serious economic and social issues surrounding poverty in Mexico rather than a rush to complete a specified construction project.  We are aware that there is always more that we can do for others  and additional mission work to be done.  Our trip is a starting place, not an end.   Join us! Help to underwrite the cost of a participant from your church or county. Invite participants to your church to share their stories and pictures. Be a prayer partner for a missioner. *Organize your church to provide funds for Bibles, vitamins, construction supplies or medical supplies. *These materials are best purchased at the border in Texas for ease of transportation. * PLEASE NOTE: Transporting ‘blessing bags’ (small toys, booklets, crayons, personal hygiene items, etc.) across the border has become a problem.
